Born in Rome in 1970, he is married and has three children.He graduated in Economics from the University “La Sapienza” of Rome and is registered as a Chartered Accountant and Auditor.
He started his career at Telecom Italia and then moved on to work in corporate consulting at companies such as KPMG, PwC and Bain & Company Italy, where he gained about fifteen years' experience in the financial services sector, covering over time roles of increasing complexity.
He joined the Poste Italiane Group in June 2011, where he held various roles of responsibility within the BancoPosta function: he was Head of Financing and Facilitated Credit Products for Businesses, Head of Business, Head of Operational Risks and Business Continuity Management, Head of Customer Value Management Mass and Small Business, Head of Mass Market and Head of Current Accounts and Financing Offer.
In November 2022 he took over responsibility for the Philately function.
Since 2021, he has also been Chairman of the Board of Directors of Financit SpA.
