Poste Italiane was one of the first Italian companies to set up a Technology Centre (known as “Campus Tecnologico”) to monitor communication and financial transaction security 24 hours a day. Today the entire postal system is supervised by a series of control rooms which use cutting-edge technologies to guarantee continuity, quality and security in delivery operations and in the services provided by Post Office branches and online channels. To improve its capacity for innovation, Poste Italiane has long been collaborating with universities, the Public Administration and private entities. In its relations with the world of academia in particular, the Company pursues excellence by participating in national-level applied research and experimentation projects on specific themes.
